A suggestion I would like to share with everyone - from recent college graduates to executives who are earning over $100k -is use social media and start a proactive job search. Over the past year the recruiting industry has changed dynamically; use social media and start a proactive job search. Posting ads on the traditional job boards or hiring headhunters is replaced by searching through candidate's profile on linkedin and doing online their own diligence. If you haven't done this than create an linkedin facebook and twitter accounts by taking some time out. In today's competitive era the basic rule is to grow up or you will be left behind.

One way of extending your personal brand is to join and participate in discussions on facebook and linkedin. LinkedIn has Q&A sections and both sites have specialized groups. Participate in discussions leave your signature with your email address at the bottom of your message with the other media information so that people who enjoyed your posts and the web scouring headhunters can add and make connections with you. The only way is the sincerity and consistency. The great way to start is the jobconcierge facebook if you have not started. People quit in frustration people who get success are the ones who give proper time to this on weekly or monthly basis.
Integrating social networking with the job applications is the second phase of differentiating your job applications. Searching through the jobsites is very tiring and time consuming and itself a job. The best way to start is niche job boards. If you want success and want to maximize chances of your next job than this is must. When you are searching jobs online and start finding joins which are relevant to you than you start mentally start dividing jobs in the following categories: (1) ideal job or (2) willing to work there. Job applying is a game itself, if you apply more the chances of getting interviews is more. JobConcierge service really helps where you get a assigned HR recruiter who manually searches over 300 job boards to find the right jobs for you and applies too. What works is the executive search service.
There is a search box in linkedin at the upper right hand side where the search can be refined by company in linkedin. Apply to the first (ideal job) category if you see any of the jobs online, Connect to members working there who are within 1st and 2nd degree connections. The common ground can be found out by joining interest groups, if there is not any relationship. To learn more about the company we recommend messaging people and asking them on phone. You will be surprised to know many people are willing to help . How the conversation is going depending on that you can know that whether they are having any information on the posting, in the particular division know anyone can provide HR contact or the best thing is to submit your resume with a recommendation. At what you are surprised is the success of this strategy at getting your name out there and ultimately the interview and job.
Take things one step further and thing strategically now. Two Job concierge members have thanked me for receiving job offers each in past seven days. How did they do it? It's not by chance. Relevant jobs were founded by their jobconcierge online each week for them. On linkedin for ideal level jobs they reached out and connected with people. Their applications were filled out and submitted by their Jobconcierge for the other level jobs. Job search is itself a job of full-time. Using your time more efficiently and result maximization. Online spending 50 hours in a month and getting is nowhere what is done by an average job-seeker. Taking things one step further can be done by classifying jobs you find online, starting a proactive job search and reaching out to various connections on LinkedIn. What you get will really surprise you .
