The most important factor to a secure home is the windows. A weak window is the number one entry point for the thief, so make sure that all the windows are secured as good as possible. The best way to do that is to change the normal glass with a tougher type. You can also have a lock fitted to the window.

Those few and simple advices can secure you home very effective. And the price is low compared the minimized risk of a break-in.
