Girls from Russia are known to be beautiful and trim. They learn from an early age to make an effort to look attractive for their men. So, they dress in a feminine and stylish manner and they often make their own clothes. They also use appropriate makeup to look good.
Positive and high family values are instilled in her at an early age. Her culture expects her to get married and give birth to children when she becomes an adult. A married women is respected by society while unmarried women are not respected by the Russian society. So, definition of success of Russian women is gauged by her getting a husband and children.
Many of the girls are well educated since education is free in Russia. However, the system favors men when it comes to jobs. It is easier for a man to get a job than it is for a woman despite her being equally qualified. This is why Russian women prefer putting their values on family rather than on careers.
The Russian society expects women to neglect or sacrifice their professions after marriage. Actually, employers normally prefer to give promotions to men whom they consider as breadwinners. So, men in Russia find their self actualization in their jobs while the women find their self realization in the family.
A Russian girl has a great desire to build a family that is strong. In fact she would rather assist her man to advance in his career rather than advancing hers. According to her, this is one way of sharing family responsibilities. It is her belief that the man is responsible for providing for the family financially while she provides love and warmth in the home.
These beliefs should not be mistaken for laziness or parasitism. These are hard working women. They take care of chores in the home like cleaning, laundry and cooking. They can readily work to provide additional income for the family. However, if they earn more than the husband, they feel uncomfortable.
This is an indication that their traditional family values are still intact whereby the head of the home is the man. They are happy to allow their husband to take the leading role. They do not finding anything wrong in requiring a man and allowing him to lead them.
This does not make them weaklings in any way. They see a marriage as a union of two equal people. They therefore do not like to be ordered around. They do not allow themselves to be treated as doormats but want respect and appreciation from their man which they also reciprocate.
Russian girls normally look for partners for life. They therefore look for partners who are mature enough to sustain a marriage. This is because they believe that marriage and families are forever. They would therefore not entertain anything that may break up their family.
